Truth

Truth has become an important, operative word for me of-recent... I was in D.C. this past weekend for a family Bar Mitzvah and saw a stunning collection of images of African Americans, incl. this iconic image of Sojourner Truth...but look at her hands! They are wide and strong and bespeak a truthfulness, an unfathomable truthfulness in experience. have not gotten to reading Benjamin, but making my way through a collection of Orwell essays, where he writes truth. this post will grow...
